Ecology Passion

I am leading a discussion group tonight about the environment. I belong to a peace and justice group called: Disciples Peace Fellowship. We just started an Arizona chapter and our series on Peace and Justice covers different topics including poverty, sexism, racism, non-violence and tonight I am covering environmental concerns both spiritual and real world oriented. We are going to hear scripture from Joel about his plight with locusts and the earth's dispair and discuss how we as Christians can contribute to the Earth's healing and nature's brilliance. I hope we have a good turnout, we are meeting in a local library meeting room. Stay tuned for more.

Long Hot Summer

Well, I have been absent from posting for this past summer. My life got complicated and I was out of touch from blogging. Now the elections are getting closer and my passions are once again burning in the political field, I must get my thoughts and opinions out in blog land once more.

I am very excited to report that most of my friends agree with me about the fact that Barack Obama is the man for President of USA. However, don't get too excited, we have been here before when Reagon kept winning. In fact, my kids asked me back in the 80's -- MOM, why do you keep voting for the losers. But, I am not letting that bother me now. We liberals can win and should win after the disasterous past 8 years of decline, ignorance and humiliation of the current administration.

I will make an effort to keep blogging at least politically to whoever wishes to read my stuff.

That is it for now..... I will revisit this post at least every couple of days.
